The resort is dedicated to the environment with the advent of its very own wind turbine, which produces a significant amount of energy the resort uses. Jiminy Peak was recently given “amusement park” status, with many summer entertainments right on the property. These include: - 3 hot tubs ( one that can accommodate a dozen people easily), - indoor / outdoor swimming pools, - tennis courts - miniature golf, - rock wall - euro trampolines - mountain roller coaster - alpine slide - mountain biking - exercise room with sauna - MOVIE THEATRE - SHOPPING -fine and casual dining and a LOT more, all on the premises. Within a short distance there is: golfing, more shopping and fine dining, historic villages, Tangle wood - the summer home of the Boston Symphony orchestra, art museums, historic sites and homes, hiking, horse back riding, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival. For those familiar with the “points” system, this week is worth approximately 140,000 points.
