It truly is in an atmosphere that combines relaxation with vacation activities, and is the perfect home away from home as you explore Maine's beaches, fishing, fine dining, theater, antiques, shopping, and more. The resort features to professional tennis courts, basketball, horseshoes, and more. For the sight seers, many area lighthouses, nature reserves, harbors and beautiful beaches await you. Take a charming trolley ride through Wells and neighboring Ogunquit. A short trolley stop away, the town of Ogunquit affords endless occasions for dining, shopping, strolling the famous Marginal Way path, or visiting the theaters. Nearby scenic Kennebunk and Kennebunkport offer historic neighborhoods and an inviting waterfront. For the nature lover, there is the wildlife refuge or Wells Estuarine Research Reserve right in Wells. The Reserve is home to 1600 acres of preserved wetlands, beach, forest and fields and is open year round. Local boat charters are available for the more serious fishermen in pursuit of tuna and even sharks. About The Condo The unit is #231, which is a large one bedroom condo with full kitchen, bath, and a private screened in balcony. The whole family (up to four people) will be very comfortable in this roomy apartment home. Each unit is professionally decorated and fully equipped with everything you’ll need to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one, including all kitchenware, towels, linens, pillows, etc. All you will need to do is show up and enjoy! The Week The week is #37, which is fantastic mid September week, and an excellent vacation time as the weather is still warm and beautiful, but the summer crowds have left the area. You can use this week yourself, or you may choose to deposit your RED week into the Interval International Exchange System (II Code is COG), and trade it for another week at one of over 1,900 resorts worldwide. The resort has had an excellent trading history for places like Myrtle Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Mexico, and others. It has also traded for much larger units including two bedrooms. The ownership and usage is annual, it is permanently deeded, and the yearly maintenance fees and taxes total $490, which is actually quite reasonable for a full week’s vacation in this location. More Details There is no mortgage on this timeshare. Maintenance and taxes are up to date. You will receive a Warranty Deed, which means that you are guaranteed free and clear title with no encumbrances. The new purchaser will begin ownership with the 2008 week, and be responsible for the 2008 maintenance fees, which will be due at the close of this auction along with the purchase price and closing costs.
